NZ Native Plant Remedy - Koromiko - bowel cleanse and restore,Urinary,Antifungal,Candida

Primarily used by Maori in treating dysentery and diarrhoea and as a general bowel detox, Koromiko leaves, stimulate evacuation of the bowel. During the Second World War, Maori & Pakeha were sent Koromiko leaves which were chewed raw or steeped. Koromiko promotes bile flow and was commonly used to cure bladder and kidney ailments. During labour, both Maori & Pakeha made Koromiko tea to induce labour and to promote a quicker birthing process.
